About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Munich the Sales Manager will ensure that guests and partners are delighted and inspired and will drive continual improvement and innovation and ensures that the property is positioned as the market leader. The (Senior) Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales.

As Sales Manager, you will responsible for the following duties:

  • Responsible for acquiring, developing and managing business relationships within the Entertainment and Group segments

  • Identifying and securing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and increase market share

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of national and international clients, agencies and key accounts

  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with entertainment companies, travel agencies, DMCs and other business partners

  • Managing group enquiries from initial contact through proposal preparation, negotiation and contract completion

  • Conducting sales activities including client meetings, sales calls, trade shows, roadshows, networking events and familiarisation trips

  • Collaborating closely with Revenue Management, Reservations, Events and Operations teams to ensure the successful execution of client business

  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities

  • Ensuring compliance with brand standards while delivering the highest levels of service and quality excellence
As Sales Manager, we expect from you:
  • Passion for the luxury hotel industry and a strong understanding of the hospitality market

  • Professional experience in hotel sales, ideally as a Sales Executive or in a similar role

  • Strong guest and service\-oriented mindset

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English

  • Professional, confident and personable appearance

  • Strong organizational skills with a structured approach to work

  • Open\-minded, proactive and reliable team player
