WHAT THE JOB BRINGS YOU

- Responsible for EMEA\-wide sales, both direct and through distributors, and promotion of chemical products/intermediates (e.g., isoprene and butadiene derivatives for several markets/applications)
- Acquisition, retention, and reactivation of industrial customers and distributors in the chemical sectors across the EMEA regions, especially French speaking countries, Africa and Middle East
- Visit direct customers in order to collect the information necessary for the development of the Business Unit (BU) strategy
- Development and implementation of sales promotion measures, together with the global/regional marketing team incl. budget management, and performance control
- Introduction of new products in EMEA in close cooperation with the global R\&D, technical, marketing and sales teams
- Maintenance of relationships with logistics partners to optimize logistics costs, especially in assigned areas
- Conduct marketing analysis of the markets in which the Company operates and propose action plans
- Organize and participate in professional events (trade shows, fairs, seminars, etc.)

- University Master degree required, preferred in natural sciences
- Solid product knowledge in isoprene and butadiene derivatives and other chemical intermediates
- Experience in marketing and sales of specialty chemicals to industrial customers, for several applications
- Strong active listening and relationship\-building skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Strategic and critical thinking skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop practical solutions
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills
- High level of resilience, adaptability, and ability to perform effectively in a dynamic environment
- Excellent language skills, including native or near\-native proficiency in French and very good command of English; Arabic language skills are highly desirable and considered an asset
