We are a well\-established, family\-focused plumbing, heating, and bathroom retailer with over 30 years of industry experience. Following our recent relocation to a prestigious high street showroom, our business is entering an exciting new phase of growth and expansion.

Traditionally recognised for our expertise in plumbing and heating supplies, we have significantly expanded our bathroom offering — from contract and trade solutions through to luxury bespoke bathroom design and supply services. With rapid business growth and future plans to expand into bathroom installation and complete project solutions, we are now seeking an ambitious and experienced Sales Manager to help drive the next stage of our success.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast\-paced retail and showroom environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences.

The Role

As Sales Manager, you will lead and develop our sales team while overseeing the daily operations of the showroom and sales function. You will play a key role in growing customer relationships, driving revenue, improving team performance, and helping shape the future direction of the business.

You will work closely with management to develop sales strategies, enhance the customer journey, and maximise opportunities across retail, trade, contract, and bespoke bathroom projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business targets and support company growth

  • Lead, motivate, and support the sales team to maximise performance and productivity

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail, trade, and contract customers

  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales and design process

  • Oversee showroom merchandising and presentation to maintain a premium customer experience

  • Analyse sales performance and market trends to identify new business opportunities

  • Conduct regular team meetings, training, and performance reviews

  • Support the growth of our expanding bespoke bathroom and future installation services

  • Maintain accurate administrative and sales records

  • Work collaboratively with marketing and management teams on promotional campaigns and business development initiatives

  • Ensure professional communication standards across telephone, email, and face\-to\-face interactions

Requirements
  • Proven experience in a sales management or retail management role

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and develop a team

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience within plumbing, heating, bathrooms, interiors, construction, or home improvement sectors is highly advantageous

  • Strong organisational and time\-management abilities

  • Commercial awareness with a proactive approach to business growth

  • Confidence in dealing with both retail customers and trade professionals

  • Experience in showroom sales, merchandising, or bathroom design is beneficial

  • Multilingual or bilingual skills are desirable but not essential
