Sales & Logistics Co-ordinator
Overview
We are seeking a proactive and customer\-focused Sales \& Logistics Coordinator to join our team. This is a varied role combining customer service, sales support and transport coordination. You will be responsible for ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service from initial enquiry through to delivery and aftersales support.
Working closely with the Sales Director and wider business, you will coordinate customer orders, arrange deliveries, communicate with customers and hauliers, and help identify opportunities to strengthen customer relationships and support business growth.
The successful candidate will be organised, commercially aware and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast\-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities \- Customer Service \& Account Support
- Act as a key point of contact for customers via telephone, email and online enquiries.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication.
- Handle customer enquiries, delivery requests and service issues promptly and professionally.
- Ensure customers are kept informed of delivery schedules and any changes to planned deliveries.
- Provide aftersales support and ensure customer issues are resolved effectively.
- Maintain accurate customer records and order information.
- Support the Sales Director by maintaining regular contact with customers.
- Follow up enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities.
- Identify opportunities within existing accounts and help develop customer relationships.
- Generate and qualify leads before passing opportunities to the Sales Director.
- Assist with customer retention and account development activities.
- Gather market and customer feedback to support business growth.
- Plan and coordinate customer deliveries using approved transport providers.
- Liaise with hauliers, suppliers and customers to ensure deliveries are completed efficiently and on time.
- Arrange and communicate delivery schedules to customers.
- Manage delivery changes, failed deliveries and transport\-related customer enquiries.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound transport activity where required.
- Ensure transport activity aligns with customer requirements and business priorities.
- Work closely with production, purchasing and sales teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Assist in coordinating inbound raw material deliveries where required.
- Support the scheduling of deliveries to align with production requirements.
- Maintain transport and customer service KPI information where required.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer service, operational efficiency and communication.

- Experience working within manufacturing, agriculture, distribution or related industries.
- Experience arranging transport or coordinating deliveries.
- Experience using ERP, CRM or order processing systems.
