Business Development & Client Relationship Executive

Location: Borehamwood, Hertfordshire (Office-Based)
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:30pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are seeking a motivated and professional individual to join a growing, customer-focused business in a varied role that combines client engagement, business development, and administration.

Full training is provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone with strong people skills, a positive attitude, and good IT proficiency who is looking to develop their career.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and generate new business opportunities through outbound calls and lead generation activities


• Contact and onboard new clients


• Research and develop potential prospects using internal systems and other sources


• Liaise with suppliers to obtain competitive pricing and negotiate discounts where appropriate


• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers


• Proactively grow customer accounts and increase ongoing business revenue


• Deliver exceptional account management and customer service


• Ensure client expectations are consistently met and exceeded


• Complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently

About You

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Confident and professional telephone manner


• Strong computer and IT skills


• Well-organised with good attention to detail


• Self-motivated with a proactive approach


• Flexible, positive, and willing to learn


• Previous experience in sales, business development, customer service, account management, or a similar client-facing role would be advantageous

Salary & Benefits

• Salary: Circa £30,000 DOE plus uncapped commission


• Commission paid on customer turnover, with ongoing earning potential from retained accounts
