This is a true relationship-building sales role where all leads are provided for you. You'll be working with a steady stream of inbound enquiries, online leads and qualified opportunities, allowing you to focus on what you do best – converting interest into sales.
We're looking for a motivated New Business Sales Executive to join a growing team within the motor insurance sector. If you thrive in a target-driven environment and enjoy building rapport with customers, this could be the perfect next step.

The Role
You'll be responsible for converting warm enquiries into new business by understanding customer needs and presenting suitable insurance solutions.
Importantly, you will not be expected to generate your own leads. Opportunities are provided through inbound calls, online enquiries, comparison websites and a dedicated lead generation function, allowing you to focus on selling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Following up on qualified leads and customer enquiries
- Building rapport and trust with prospective customers
- Understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products
- Explaining policy features, benefits and pricing clearly
- Handling objections professionally and confidently
- Converting quotations into sales
- Identifying additional sales opportunities where appropriate
- Maintaining accurate records and CRM updates
- Achieving and exceeding sales targets and KPIs
- Experience within insurance, telesales, recruitment or another target-driven sales environment
- Proven ability to work towards and achieve KPIs
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence overcoming objections and closing sales
- Resilience, drive and a positive attitude
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- A stable employment history demonstrating commitment
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Following probation, occasional Saturday working may be required on a rota basis (approximately one in eight weeks).
