Sales Manager – International B2B Publishing & Events

Up to £35k basic, OTE £55k International Travel **

Opportunity to join a successful company that has operated as a leader in its field for 30 years. Based in Surrey, UK, but with a worldwide client portfolio, our client is seeking an enthusiastic Sales Manager to join the team. You will be responsible for selling monthly advertisements as well as event space for our annual international conference series to our industrial advertiser base.

Summary of Sales Manager responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day sales process for generating sales across their client portfolio


• Manage and retain existing client accounts while developing new business


• Negotiate deals and maximise revenues from sales


• Interact daily with new and existing accounts via phone, video calls and face-to-face meetings


• Travel internationally to visit clients and build relationships


• Meet monthly publishing deadlines and revenue targets


• Promote the company brand at every opportunity

Person Specification:

• Previous B2B sales experience is essential


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Experience in conducting industry research / analysis and ability to interpret relevant information


• Ability to create compelling sales and marketing information, in print and online


• Creativity and initiative in a sales environment


• Resilient, confident with a positive outlook


• Strong skills in numeracy, computer literacy (MS Office), CRM systems and adept in using social media

Additional Information:

• Based in Surrey


• Up to £35,000 basic, OTE £55k (highly achievable)


• International travel


• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays


• Hybrid
