Sales Executive

An established business services company is seeking a Sales Executive to join its growing team in Southampton. Your Role and Responsibilities:
While in this position your duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Generate new business opportunities through outbound cold and warm telephone calling.
- Introduce the company’s commercial finance services to a variety of UK businesses.
- Identify current and future funding requirements through detailed fact-finding conversations.
- Build strong relationships and rapport with key decision makers in a professional and compliant manner.
- Manage and develop your own diary and pipeline to achieve performance targets and touchpoints.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of all client interactions using CRM systems.
- Ensure compliance with FCA, GDPR, and internal company procedures and policies.
- Deliver a high standard of customer service with professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Attend and contribute to regular team meetings and wider business initiatives.
- Support special projects and business development activities where required.
- Educated to GCSE level or above.
- Previous experience within telemarketing, sales, finance, or a customer-focused environment would be advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills and a confident telephone manner.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
- Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed and meet targets.
- Good business acumen and the ability to quickly understand client requirements.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to work.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems such as SalesLogix or similar.
- A proactive attitude with the willingness to learn and develop within a fast-paced environment.

The role offers a salary of up to £35,000 alongside an uncapped discretionary bonus structure, profit-related pay, hybrid working opportunities following probation, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension contributions, life assurance, flexible benefits, and additional employee wellbeing support programmes.
