Looking for a role where your communication skills and commercial drive can really make a difference?
We’re currently recruiting for a Sales Executive to join a well-established business based in Basingstoke. You’ll be part of a friendly team, working with customers on a daily basis and playing an important part in generating new business and growing existing accounts.
This would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, is comfortable picking up the phone and wants the opportunity to progress within a sales environment.
What you'll be doing...
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Speaking with customers to understand their needs and requirements
- Managing enquiries from initial contact through to follow-up
- Contacting potential customers and developing new business opportunities
- Keeping in touch with existing clients and identifying additional opportunities
- Producing and chasing quotations
- Following up warm leads and previous enquiries
- Supporting the growth of customer accounts
- Keeping the CRM and customer information up to date
- Working alongside colleagues to ensure customers receive a positive experience
- Contributing to agreed sales and revenue goals
You don’t necessarily need a lengthy sales background. We’re more interested in finding someone who has the right personality, attitude and motivation to succeed.
You’ll ideally be:
- A confident and engaging communicator
- Comfortable speaking with customers over the telephone
- Naturally proactive and willing to pick up the phone
- Motivated by achieving targets and seeing results
- Good at building professional relationships
- Well organised and able to manage your own workload
- Positive, reliable and keen to learn
- Interested in developing a career within sales
