Join a Growing Hygiene Sector Business Our client is a privately owned and rapidly growing business within the hygiene sector, delivering high-quality washroom hygiene, waste management, and workplace hygiene solutions to commercial customers across England and Scotland. With an excellent reputation for customer service, environmentally responsible solutions, and long-term client partnerships, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Area Sales Consultant to drive business growth across the North East and Yorkshire.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced hygiene sales professional looking to maximise their earnings while enjoying the autonomy of a fully field-based role.
The Role As an Area Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for generating new business while managing and developing existing customer relationships across your designated territory.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Winning new B2B business across your designated territory.
- Managing the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to closing.
- Building relationships with business owners, facilities managers, and key decision-makers.
- Conducting customer meetings and presenting tailored hygiene and washroom service solutions.
- Preparing proposals and quotations.
- Managing your sales pipeline using the CRM system.
- Working closely with operational teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
- Consistently achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Proven field sales experience within the washroom hygiene industry (essential).
- Experience selling for recognised hygiene service providers such as PHS, Initial, Rentokil, or similar organisations.
- A strong track record of winning new B2B business.
- Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Experience managing your own sales territory independently.
- A full UK driving licence.
- Be based within an NE or YO postcode area.
- £65,000 OTE in your first year.
- Top earners achieving £110,000+ per annum.
