Sales Estimator
Responsibilities/Duties include but are not limited to:
· Take enquiries from customers via email and telephone, gathering all relevant information such as drawings, specs etc and responding in a timely and professional manner
· Ability to understand and interpret technical drawings
· Analyse labour, material and time requirements
· Contact suppliers for material prices and place purchase orders on our internal systems
· Prepare and submit accurate quotes from documentation provided using internal estimating software
· Chase up quotes submitted and request feedback on unsuccessful quotes
· Generate enquiries and new business through existing contacts and develop relationships with new contacts
· Keep company records up to date in relation to quotes submitted and feedback received
· Maintain up to date costs in the estimating software
· Work within given timescales to maintain production output
· Ensure that all paperwork for each job is legible/completed in full and passed onto the relevant department upon completion
· Ensure all Health \& Safety rules/standards are adhered to – including the use of Personal Protective Equipment when working on the shop floor
Job Types: Full\-time, Permanent
Pay: £28,000\.00\-£32,500\.00 per year
