Description
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their engineering requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities and work to expand the customer base.
- Provide technical support and advice to clients, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to potential customers.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of solutions.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform sales strategies.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management.
- Travel to client sites as required, supported by a company car or allowance
A successful Sales Engineer should have:
- A background in engineering with a HND or equivalent
- Experience in sales within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client engagement.
- The ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly.
- A proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- A valid driving licence to accommodate travel requirements.
- Salary dependent on the level of experience, up to £47,000.
- 15% bonus.
- Company car or company car allowance (£700 per month).
