Sales Engineer - Cost Estimation (m/f/d)

We are looking for a SALES ENGINEER \- COST ESTIMATION (m/f/d) to expand our sales team.
Immediate start, permanent, full\-time position, based in Duisburg

You will carry out the following activities:

• Preparing cost estimates for the sales department to create fulfillment budgets based on current supplier quotes or historical data from the ordering system


• Reconciling, verifying, and standardizing cross\-departmental data—both historical and current market data—across the Group and globally


• Collaborating and exchanging information with Accounting and Sales to define, estimate, and present costs


• Conducting cost analyses and evaluations based on experience and market conditions


• Identifying and evaluating cost drivers and risks, as well as strategically counteracting them and minimizing risks

Required profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in (Business) Engineering or comparable qualification


• At least three years of professional experience in cost estimation, ideally in mechanical engineering or custom plant construction


• Basic understanding of technical concepts in plant engineering (mechanical engineering, instrumentation, electronics)


• Proficiency in SAP and MS Office


• Very good English skills and good German skills


• Knowledge of contract management, project controlling, or project management is a plus
