Vention is hiring a Sales Development Representative to help grow our UK business from our London office.
We work with VC\-backed startups, scaleups, unicorns, and enterprise clients to build dedicated software engineering teams and deliver custom software solutions. This is a high\-impact outbound sales role where you’ll identify and engage founders, CTOs, engineering leaders, product leaders, and other senior decision\-makers across the UK market.
You’ll be responsible for creating new conversations, booking qualified meetings, and building pipeline for our business development team.

- Book qualified meetings and create new opportunities for the business development team
- Attend industry events, tech meetups, and networking opportunities to generate new relationships
- Track all activity, lead information, and next steps accurately in the CRM
- Consistently work towards weekly and monthly KPIs, including outbound activity, meetings booked, qualified opportunities, and pipeline generated
- 1\+ year of experience in an SDR, BDR, business development, recruitment, staffing, IT services, SaaS, or B2B sales role
- Proven experience with outbound prospecting, including cold calls, email, and LinkedIn outreach
- Confidence engaging senior decision\-makers and starting commercial conversations
- Strong written communication skills and ability to personalise outreach
- Interest in technology, software development, digital products, or complex B2B services
- Comfortable working to KPIs and managing your own pipeline of prospects
- Resilient, curious, proactive, and motivated by progression in sales
- Experience in software development services, IT consulting, staffing, recruitment, staff augmentation, or complex SaaS
- Understanding of offshore / nearshore delivery models or dedicated engineering teams
- Experience selling or prospecting into CTOs, founders, engineering leaders, product leaders, or technology teams
- Experience with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, Apollo, Salesloft, Outreach, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator
