Sales Development Representative
£30,000 \- £30,000 \+ Bonus
Purpose of the Role
To generate qualified appointments with business owners and directors who may benefit from AW Safety’s compliance audit and retained consultancy services.
You will be responsible for creating opportunities, not closing them.
You will work closely with the Managing Director, who will conduct the sales meetings and convert opportunities into clients.
Success in this role is measured by the quality and volume of opportunities generated
The Role
This is not a traditional sales role.
You won’t be expected to close deals.
Instead, your focus will be generating a consistent flow of qualified opportunities for our Business Development team.
You will be responsible for prospecting, outreach, relationship building and appointment generation across multiple sectors including:
- Construction
- Manufacturing
- Engineering
- Logistics
- Property
- Facilities Management
Key Responsibilities
Outbound Lead Generation
- Research and identify target companies
- Build prospect databases
- Conduct LinkedIn outreach campaigns
- Run email prospecting campaigns
- Follow up marketing enquiries
- Make outbound prospecting calls
- Book meetings and compliance audits
Build relationships with:
- Accountants
- Insurance Brokers
- HR Consultants
- Employment Law Firms
- Business Networks
- Trade Associations
CRM Management
- Maintain accurate records within HubSpot
- Manage prospect pipelines
- Track lead activity
- Update opportunities
- Produce weekly activity reports
Work closely with marketing and management teams to:
- Launch targeted campaigns
- Follow up enquiries
- Re\-engage dormant prospects
- Generate opportunities from existing databases
Within your first 12 months you will:
- Create a consistent pipeline of qualified prospects
- Generate compliance audit opportunities every month
- Build referral relationships that deliver regular introductions
- Become a key contributor to the company’s growth strategy
Essential
- Previous experience in lead generation, appointment setting, business development or telesales
- Excellent communication skills
- Confidence speaking with business owners and directors
- Strong organisational skills
- Self\-motivated and proactive attitude
- Ability to work independently
- Experience using CRM systems
- HubSpot experience
- B2B lead generation experience
- LinkedIn Sales Navigator experience
- Experience within professional services, consultancy, compliance, HR, training or facilities management sectors

- £27,000 – £30,000 Basic Salary
