The Sales Executive plays a key role in supporting the sales function by managing customer interactions, preparing quotations, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth end\-to\-end sales cycle. This position involves close collaboration with external account managers, customers, and suppliers to deliver excellent service and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Interaction
- Handle incoming customer calls and enquiries in a professional and timely manner
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers
- Quotation \& Sales Support
- Prepare and issue accurate quotations based on customer requirements
- Follow up on quotations and support conversion to sales
- Order Management
- Process customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Supplier Coordination
- Place and manage orders with suppliers
- Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues
- Communicate effectively across internal teams
- Check stock availability and provide updates to customers and sales teams
- Coordinate with warehouse or supply chain teams where necessary
- Strong customer service orientation
- Excellent communication skills (telephone and email)
- Proactive and self\-motivated approach to work
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong email communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft BC (desirable)
- Previous experience in a sales administration or customer service role preferred
- Experience dealing with customers and suppliers in a fast\-paced environment
- Experience with the paint industry (desirable)
