Sales Coordinator

Newbury, Office Based
£26,000 - £28,000 per annum
Monday to Friday (with an early finish on a Friday)

Are you an organised Sales Coordinator who enjoys supporting customers and the sales team, managing orders, and keeping things running smoothly?

This is a varied role where you will work closely with customers, support the sales process from enquiry to order, and help drive business growth within a supportive team.

Our client is a well-established and growing industrial business that is investing heavily in expanding its commercial team.

The Role

Working alongside internal teams, you will manage customer enquiries, prepare quotations, process orders and maintain accurate records, ensuring customers receive excellent customer service from start through to completion.

  • Manage customer enquiries via phone and email

  • Prepare and send customer quotations

  • Process customer orders accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain customer records and update CRM systems

  • Support Account Managers with customer requirements

  • Liaise with internal teams to ensure orders are fulfilled and delivered in a timely manner.

  • Monitor order progress and communicate updates to customers

  • Build strong relationships with customers and become a trusted point of contact

  • Help manage customer accounts and support business growth initiatives

The Candidate

This role would suit someone who is highly organised, customer focused and enjoys working withing a busy and fast paced environment.

  • Previous experience within a Sales Coordinator/Internal Sales role or similar

  • Previous experience processing orders and a high volume of customer enquiries.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask
