About the Role
We are looking for a self\-motivated and enthusiastic Sales Consultant to join our team in Lydney. You will play a key role advising customers in a way that meets their individual needs \- thus delivering an outstanding customer experience.
The successful candidate will be confident, customer\-focused, self\-disciplined, innovative and team player.
Key Responsibilities
- Greeting customers and providing professional sales advice.
- Building strong relationships with existing customers and forging unbreakable bonds with new ones.
- Ensuring that all recommendations are personalised to satisfy customers’ need and aspirations.
- Managing enquiries, quotations and follow\-up communication in a timely manner
- Achieving individual and team sales/retention targets.
- Maintaining a high standard of customer service and professionalism at all times.
- Supporting colleagues and contributing positively to the team environment.
- Assisting with general showroom and administrative duties as required.
- This is a varied role, with the successful candidate being required to perform a range of tasks on a daily basis. These include (but are not limited to) :
Processing daily orders using our order management system.
Using online portals to schedule customer deliveries and collections with our courier partners.
Monitoring stock levels to ensure products are replenished to meet customer requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Previous sales or customer service experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive, proactive, and professional attitude.
- Strong organisational and problem\-solving abilities.
- Confidence in dealing with customers face\-to\-face, over the phone and online.
- Individual flair, creativity and determination.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Good IT skills and experience using standard business software.
