Award\-winning business Kilts 4 U requires a full\-time Sales Consultant to work within our stores based in Glasgow, East kilbride and Prestwick. As a high\-end retailer and a key provider of Groomswear within the Scottish Wedding Industry we are looking for someone with experience in retail; either within luxury goods or high\-end fashion stores or with wedding industry experience.

THE ROLE

As a sales consultant, you’ll play a major part in helping clients visualize one of the most important days of their lives, so you must have a genuine passion for luxury and an interest in the wedding and formal wear industry.

You will develop and maintain strong relationships to ensure each customer receives consistent and professional service throughout. You’ll be delivering an amazing bespoke shopping experience and will be skilled at developing a rapport with a diverse clientele and will understand each customer’s requirements and provide guidance accordingly.

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Polished, articulate and with an excellent personal presentation, you must be comfortable interacting and advising clients on style choices and colours when selecting made to measure and hire of highland wear. Training will be given in the measuring and fitting of garments, so you must be willing to learn.

There will be an expectation that you will keep up to date with knowledge of current market trends and competitor activity. Meeting and exceeding targets and identifying opportunities to increase performance is an important aspect of this role.

Previous wedding industry experience would be an advantage, but consideration will be given to candidates who can demonstrate experience in a high\-end retail environment, and you must have impeccable references.

You will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

Sales

• Assist and advise customers in selecting made to measure and hire of highland wear


• Measuring and fitting of garments (training provided)


• Delivering excellent customer service at all times


• Assisting customers, whether they are just browsing or looking for something specific


• Developing Grooms/Highland wear knowledge


• Processing cash and card payments


• Carrying out additional duties as and when required

• Previous experience of working in a prestigious retail environment


• Available to work weekends


• A friendly, professional and engaging personality


• Articulate and numerate


• Sales and IT Administration Skills


• Immaculately well presented


• Driving licence (preferred)
