Sales Adviser Farnham | £28,860 per annum (£14.80 per hour) | Full-time
An exciting opportunity to join a growing specialist showroom team We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Adviser / Product Sales Professional to join a showroom in Farnham.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, has a passion for products and technical detail, and wants to build a long-term career with a specialist business. You don't need to be a traditional salesperson — you'll become a trusted product expert, helping customers turn their ideas into reality.
You'll receive full product training and have genuine opportunities for progression.
The Role As a Sales Adviser, you'll be a key member of the showroom team, providing knowledgeable, professional and friendly service throughout the customer journey — from the initial enquiry through to order and final delivery.
You'll be responsible for:

• Providing outstanding customer service and expert product advice


• Understanding customers' requirements and recommending the most suitable products


• Managing customer orders and enquiries confidently and efficiently


• Identifying opportunities to recommend complementary products and accessories


• Ensuring customer requirements, including specialist specifications, are processed accurately and on time


• Checking deliveries and ensuring all associated paperwork is completed correctly


• Resolving customer queries and issues through to a satisfactory conclusion


• Maintaining attractive, accurate and well-presented showroom displays


• Ensuring pricing, product information and stock levels are kept up to date


• Looking for ways to improve customer service, efficiency and processes


• Supporting stocktakes and maintaining a clean, organised and customer-friendly showroom


• Assisting with the training and development of new colleagues


• Deputising for the Branch Manager or Assistant Manager when required

About You We're looking for someone with experience in product-led sales, technical sales, retail, showroom or another customer-facing environment.
You'll ideally be:

• Naturally customer-focused and confident dealing with people


• Commercially aware, with an eye for opportunities to add value


• Comfortable learning detailed product information


• Organised, accurate and able to manage multiple customer requirements


• Professional, friendly and approachable


• Confident communicating with customers face-to-face


• A team player who is happy to support colleagues


• Proactive and keen to develop their product knowledge and career

A valid UK driving licence is essential, as you may occasionally be required to provide cover at other locations.
Hours & Package Salary: £28,860 per annum (£14.80 per hour)
Hours: 09:00–17:00, Monday–Saturday, 5 days per week
