Sales Assistant Intern

We are looking for a Sales Assistant for a 6\-month internship based in the Milan Metropolitan Area. Reporting to the Sales Manager in Italy, the successful candidate will support a broad range of commercial and sales activities. The position has a strong international dimension, as around 50% of the role will be dedicated to supporting and collaborating with a European office, providing the opportunity to work closely with colleagues across multiple markets and gain valuable exposure to an international business environment.

The successful candidate will have to assist in various missions:

• Follow the daily sales, updating the stocks with releases and new arrivals for all range Del Monte products;


• Managing sales files reporting any inventory or service issues to management and the appropriate Account Manager Immediately;


• Dealing with order management, pre\-sales activities and post sales activities;


• Collaborate with Sales Manager to identify new potential clients through research and networking;


• Build long\-term relationships with new and existing customers;


• Collaborate with Sales Manager to achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule.


• Report activity for Senior Commercial Director collecting data to create sales presentation.

• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.


• Prioritizing, time management, and organizational skills.


• Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales.


• Fluent English, both written and spoken


• A Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.


• Strong desire to learn, grow, and succeed in sales.


• Self\-motivated, goal\-oriented, and a team player.

Pay: €599\.00 \- €600\.00 per month

Work Location: In person
