Sales Assistant for Kiosk

Job description

An amazing opportunity has arisen to be part of a team at a NEW food retail kiosk at Merry Hill Shopping Centre, Brierly Hill.

Responsibilities

As a retail assistant, you'll play an important role in ensuring the kiosk runs smoothly. This includes, but is not limited to, the following:

• Serving customers with a first\-class service, looking for opportunities to upsell whenever possible


• Handing out samples and talking to customers


• Keeping the kiosk area and equipment clean


• Handling cash from purchases


• Ensuring a high level of personal hygiene, ensuring that food safety regulations are adhered to


• Being aware of stock levels, and restocking products when required


• Preparing and heating food in the kiosk


• Assist the manager in other tasks necessary to run the kiosk.


• Dealing with complaints when required to do so

• Ideally previous retail experience


• Good flexibility in terms of hours/days for work


• The ability to work well under pressure


• A results\-driven approach to work


• The ability to learn quickly


• The ability to work effectively by yourself or as part of a team


• Strong communication skills


• Good energy and stamina

Pay: £8\.00\-£12\.71 per hour
