About the Role
We have a fantastic opportunity to join our administration team at Nottingham. Our customer base is ever increasing, and this is a new position within the company that will work to support our processing facility and customers on a fulltime basis.
Working within the chilled food sector, the office moves at a fast pace, customers’ demands and needs are our priority and we excel in delivering excellent service.
General Responsibilities
- Manage business phone calls and general correspondence/taking phone /e mail enquires from customers.
- Answering the phone in a positive friendly manner, engaging with the customer to ensure their enquiries are directed to the correct department.
- Responding quickly and effectively to Customer Orders and queries.
- Generating computer printed labels and manually applying labels to plastic packaging bags for the Production facility.
- Understanding the daily priorities within the office.
- Effective communication with other departments on customer related issues.
- General Office duties, photocopying, filing etc…
You will be friendly, hardworking, reliable and want to get stuck in, working with the site team to deliver excellent service. A person who will grow with the business, one that likes a challenge and is not afraid to expand their knowledge and wants to progress their career.
Previous work experience in an office or customer service environment would be an advantage, however full training will be given.
Skills and Qualifications You Have
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
- A calm and professional telephone manner.
- A good level of numeracy and literacy
- PC Literacy and good computer skills in Microsoft Office and e-mail software
- Accurate, thorough, and well organised
- Comfortable working in a fast pace environment and to tight deadlines.
Salary: up to £ 28,000.00 dependent on skills, knowledge and experience

Working Hours :
Full time
40 hours per Week
8.00 am to 4.30pm each day which is flexible subject to daily workload.
One 30 minute unpaid Break each day.
