Job Description
Sales and Phama Economics Manager leads the integration between commercial strategy and clinical\-economic value of Sandoz products (biosimilars), supporting pricing, market access, and positioning decisions through health economics analyses. The role works cross\-functionally with Sales, Market Access, Regulatory and Medical teams. Leads the implementation of a sustainable Patient Access strategy at regional level, in agreement with Market Access Head. Support regional Patient Access projects execution including internal application and project milestone tracking. Drive sales analysis and model for the Bio portfolio.
Your Key Responsibilities:Your responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Develops access strategy, pharmaco\-economics analysis, sales analysis, working closely with other functions (Sales Unit, Tender Team, Medical Affairs and Regional team)
- Support engagement with key stakeholders: Regional payers, Hospital pharmacists, Healthcare decision\-makers
- Analyze data on: Pharmaceutical consumption (e.g., IQVIA, tender databases), Healthcare expenditure, Biosimilar uptake, Monitor competitive benchmarks and market trends. Support forecasting and economic scenario planning.
- Translate clinical and economic value evidence into commercial narratives and tools for the sales force.
- Support Sales teams in defining regional market penetration strategies (with a focus on public tenders and regional healthcare systems).
- Create insights and data collection for price strategy in the tender process
- Contribute to the development of differentiated value propositions for biosimilars.
- Provide insights to optimize price\& volume strategies.
- Take an active role in the European Access community.
- Review product Sales forecast by month
- Create models to predict monthly and annual LO
- Collaborate with supply to monitor product availability and manage allocations
- Support in creation of executive presentation for business reviews
- Effective use and improvement of tracking systems to measure access
- Shortening product(s) time to market \-Improvement/expansion of patient access.
- Contribution to tender success rate (winning rate)
- Improvement in biosimilar uptake
- Quality and impact of pharmacoeconomic models
- Support to effective pricing strategies
- Level of engagement with regional stakeholders
- Degree in Economics, Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Engineering, or related fields
- Market and customer intelligence.
- Proficient in tools and systems related to Hospitals.
- Working experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience above 3 years medicinal products for human use or in consultancy agency
- Patient/client driven with excellent communication skills.
- Able to work in cross\-functional and international team.
- Comfortable in managing negotiation and inspiring an audience.
- Accuracy and Proactivity skills
- Account Management.
- Experience in developing: Budget Impact Models, Sales Analysis and Forecasting
- Advanced analytical skills (strong Excel; modelling tools are a plus)
- Strong business acumen
- Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent communication skills (including interaction with Sales teams
- Stakeholder management
- Collaborative, cross\-functional mindset
- English Fluent and Italian Mandatory
Sandoz compensation is determined by job level, qualifications, niche skills, experience, and location within company salary ranges. Fully proficient and highly effective employees can expect a starting salary around market median, with those new to the level or with less functional depth at the lower end of the range and those with sustained superior or niche skills towards the higher end of the range. Internal equity and external market data inform our range placement. Annual salary reviews consider performance outcomes, market alignment, and business needs.
