Sales and Marketing Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and enthusiastic Sales and Marketing Assistant to join our friendly and creative team in a wedding, events and gastro pub setting. You must be able to be proactive and creative. We need a driver and not a passenger!
The role is temp to perm, allowing both parties time to decide if its for them, we are actively encouraging people who can work 4\-5 days a week around the school runs.
If you love hitting sales targets and working under pressure this role is for you, although the company works towards specific numbers the team is built around encouragement, drive and positivity.
This role offers an excellent opportunity in beautiful surroundings to develop your skills in sales, marketing, and customer engagement within a fast\-paced environment.
The successful candidate will support the team in building customer relationships across social media platforms, promoting our services, and contributing to the overall growth of the organisation.
Duties
- Assist in developing and implementing sales strategies to attract new customers.
- Drive sales to specific targets for events in both the Main House and Marquee.
- Support the organisation's marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital platforms and print media.
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and industry trends
- Engage with clients through phone calls, emails, and face\-to\-face meetings to promote products and services
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of products or services
- Manage administrative tasks such as updating client records, preparing reports, and scheduling appointments
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client queries promptly and professionally
- Proven experience or interest in sales, customer service, or marketing roles is desirable
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Demonstrable negotiation skills with the ability to influence outcomes effectively
- Proficiency in IT applications including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent organisational skills with effective time management abilities
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast\-paced environment
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
