Do you know the ingredients and speciality food space, and are you ready to take real ownership of a commercial function in a business built to grow?
About Cotswold Ingredients
Cotswold Ingredients is one of the UK’s largest importers and suppliers of quality culinary, fairtrade, and botanical herbs, spices, and ingredients — trusted by over 1,000 customers across the food industry for more than 40 years. We supply food manufacturers, seasoning blenders, caterers, health food retailers, and specialist resellers, as well as a growing direct and online channel. We hold BRC, Soil Association, and GMO\-free accreditation and source directly from trusted farms worldwide.
About the Role
This is a senior commercial hire at the heart of the business. You will drive revenue across both the bulk trade and online channels, lead and develop the internal sales team, and build the customer relationships that generate consistent, repeat, and growing volumes.
You will be proactive in the market, confident in negotiation, and commercially disciplined, asking what the margin is, not just whether the order came in. The best accounts here are not the biggest single orders, but the ones that come back month after month and grow with you.

- People management experience, able to lead a team and drive performance through coaching and accountability
- Commercial acumen: confident with pricing, margin analysis, and deal negotiation
- CRM experience and comfort with pipeline management and sales reporting
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to meet customers
- Competitive base salary, DOE
- Performance bonus and additional perks
