We are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and require a Sales Support Assistant to support our Commercial Department.

Job Description

Are you a highly organised, detail\-focused professional who can confidently manage multiple priorities? We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Sales Support Administrator to play a key role in sales process and reporting, maintaining accurate sales information, and ensuring our sales and marketing activities run smoothly.

About the Role

You’ll be at the heart of our sales operation, supporting the team, assisting management of our CRM and helping to drive sales activity. This full\-time role is based at our Hull office.

What You'll Be Doing

Retailer \& Account Support

  • Provide day\-to\-day administrative support across key retail accounts including Boots, Next, Lookfantastic and other online retailers.

  • Complete and submit all required retailer ranging forms, new product development (NPD) forms and product setup documentation.

  • Maintain accurate retailer product information and support the management of retailer product information systems, where required.

  • Complete and submit Salesplan promotional nominations in line with the agreed commercial calendar.

  • Maintain an accurate record of retailer promotional activity, launches and key account deadlines.
Sales \& Performance Reporting
  • Collate and maintain weekly sales reporting across all retail accounts.

  • Track performance by retailer, product/SKU and promotion, highlighting significant changes or issues to the Sales Manager.

  • Maintain sales trackers and ensure information is accurate and up to date.

  • Review stock availability and sales performance each week.

  • Prepare suggested retailer orders every Monday based on current stock levels, rate of sale and agreed forecasts for review by the Sales Manager.
Account Support
  • Check retailer websites twice weekly to identify products that are out of stock, unavailable or incorrectly displayed and escalate issues.

  • Check that all agreed Salesplan promotions and offers go live correctly, including promotional pricing and product participation.

  • Carry out store checks at key Salesplan promotional periods, range changes and store rebuilds, reporting back on:

  • Product availability

  • Fixture position and merchandising

  • Promotional execution

  • Pricing

  • POS/display implementation

  • Competitor activity

  • Monitor Boots purchase orders and ensure POs are booked into the warehouse/logistics process within required retailer deadlines, escalating any potential issues.

  • Support range changes, launches, discontinuations and retailer rebuild activity.
New Product Launches
  • Support the onboarding and setup of new products across retailer systems.

  • Ensure product descriptions, barcodes, dimensions, pricing, imagery and other required information are supplied accurately and on time.

  • Track NPD setup from initial ranging through to retailer launch.

  • Work with Marketing, NPD, Operations and the wider commercial team to ensure retailers have everything required for launch.
Stock \& Availability
  • Review retailer and internal stock positions regularly.

  • Identify potential out\-of\-stock risks and communicate these to the relevant teams.

  • Support the Sales Manager with suggested replenishment orders based on sales and stock cover.

  • Help ensure strong product availability across all key retail partners.
