Sales Administrator

Sales Administrator (Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 depending on experience) is needed to join a well-established business in the construction industry. Our client needs a full-time Sales Administrator to join their team near Peterborough. The role will support the smooth running of the sales and administrative functions and plays a key part in making sure that things run as they should.

This is a busy sales role involving responsibilities such as:

• Sales order processing, monitor stock and support order fulfilment.


• Some sales enquiries follow up activities including managing leads.


• Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance to company policies.


• Liaising with customers and works site staff.


• Assist with preparing estimates for projects.


• Support showroom management.


• Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.).


• Create and update records and databases as required.


• Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary.


• Assist colleagues whenever necessary.


• Any other duties as assigned.

As the Sales Administrator, you will:

• Have previous experience of a similar role in construction.


• Have a strong administrative background.


• Be flexible, proactive and versatile in approach.


• Have great communication skills and eager to learn.


• Be an excellent team player, personable and able to get on with colleagues.


• Be comfortable and able to work under pressure in a busy office and to meet time deadlines.
