Sales Account Manager (Korean or Chinese Language Skills Advantageous)

Korea Foods Company is a family\-owned importer, distributor, and retailer of Korean and other Asian food. We are the largest importer of Korean food in Europe, distribute to 1200 wholesale customers, including the major multiples, and operate 17 retail shops in the UK.

We pride ourselves on working hard, quickly, and we are currently undertaking new expansion plans that will drive the company’s capabilities further.

Contract: Permanent, Full\-time, Subject to 3\-month probation

Working Hours: 42\.5 per week, Monday to Friday 08:30 – 18:00

Main Purpose \& Scope of the Job

The SAM will be responsible for successfully developing sales with new and existing accounts, primarily within the Oriental sector. The successful candidate should be able to communicate exceptionally well within the Oriental sector, understanding the cultural needs of our accounts.

Duties \& Key Responsibilities

· Manage customer accounts and develop sales of a wide range of products to existing and potential sales targets

· Make recommendations regarding appropriate marketing and promotional campaigns

· Regularly analyse sales figures maintaining effective business reports

· Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding performance

· Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the sales team

· Other duties and responsibilities which the company will require to perform in line with the position

Person Specification

· Chinese/Korean speaking very advantageous

· Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, Word

· Able to work on own initiative with minimum supervision in a demanding working environment

· Able to communicate and negotiate effectively with customers

· Strong work ethic and integrity

· Excellent time management skills, highly organized, self\-motivate and possess the willingness to learn, improve and adapt

· Full UK Driving License

· Knowledge of Asian foods and cultures in general would be an advantage

The remuneration of the role will be discussed at interview stages.

Pay: Up to £40,000\.00 per year
