Your Position
As a Sales Account Manager, you will work closely with the Sales Manager to grow a sustainable and profitable customer account base for Bargain Hardware.
You will act as a key point of contact for customers, discussing their requirements, providing product and technical advice, preparing quotes, negotiating pricing and closing sales.
This is a hands\-on, commercially focused role suited to someone proactive, organised and eager to exceed targets. You will need excellent communication skills, persistence and the ability to work efficiently within a fast\-paced sales environment.
Ideally, you will have a background in B2B sales, and existing knowledge of computer hardware would be advantageous, although it is not essential. More important is that you are confident in approaching customers, building rapport and developing long\-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships.
Your Responsibilities
- Overseeing the sale of refurbished enterprise IT hardware, including servers, workstations, switches and related equipment.
- Communicating with customers to understand their needs and highlight the value of suitable products.
- Providing product and technical advice where appropriate.
- Negotiating prices, sending quotes and closing sales.
- Maximising value from new leads generated through inbound channels, including email and phone enquiries.
- Re\-establishing relationships with dormant customers and lapsed accounts through outbound calls, networking and marketing campaigns.
- Arranging and attending introductory customer meetings by phone or video call.
- Liaising with internal departments to manage orders through to completion.
- Updating and maintaining the CRM.
- Analysing customer and sales data to identify trends within the industry and customer base.
- Keeping up to date with relevant hardware developments.
- Working closely with the Sales Manager and wider Sales, E\-commerce, Trade and Products teams.
- B2B sales experience, preferably within the technology industry.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong commercial acumen.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional yet approachable manner.
- The ability to build rapport with customers and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Excellent computer skills, especially in Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM software.
- A proactive, can\-do attitude and willingness to learn.
- An interest in IT hardware, refurbished technology or the circular economy.
- £28,000\-£30,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Uncapped bonus scheme.

The role is based at our facility in the beautiful village of Ribchester, PR3 3XL.
Due to limited public transport, having your own transport is recommended.
This is a full\-time role, working Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm.
