Sales Account Manager – Fibreplus Ltd.

We are looking for a motivated and commercially driven Sales Account Manager to join our growing team. This role will have a strong focus on generating new business and developing customer relationships within the data centre sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities, managing accounts, and driving sales growth. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and manage a strong pipeline of opportunities, engage with new and existing customers, and help position Fibreplus Ltd. as a trusted supplier to the data centre market.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities within the data centre sector.
- Support and develop opportunities within the wider telecoms market where relevant.
- Build, manage, and grow a strong sales pipeline.
- Identify target customers, key contacts, and new project opportunities.
- Develop relationships with new and existing customers.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products and services.
- Prepare and issue quotations in a professional and timely manner.
- Follow up on quotes, leads, and live opportunities.
- Support customers with enquiries by phone, email, and face\-to\-face where required.
- Work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and external sales colleagues.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, customer notes, and pipeline updates.
- Manage key accounts and look for opportunities to increase spend across Fibreplus products and services.
- Promote Fibreplus’ full offering, including fibre cable, connectivity, test equipment, splicing equipment, hire, repair, training, and associated products.
- A confident communicator who can build strong customer relationships.
- A proactive and target\-driven approach to sales.
- Strong attention to detail and a right\-first\-time approach.
- Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up opportunities effectively.
- Comfortable making outbound calls and speaking with new prospects.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to spot opportunities for growth.
- Experience in sales, account management, data centres, telecoms, fibre optics, or technical products would be beneficial, but is not essential.
- A positive attitude and desire to build a long\-term career within a growing business.
