Rural Business Consultant (Schemes, Grants and Your speciality)
DJM Consulting are looking for a bright, curious and commercially minded person who wants to build a career in rural consultancy.
Based near Bridgnorth, Shropshire, you will join a rural consultancy team where you can take responsibility, work directly with clients and develop the role around your own strengths and interests.
The Role
The main purpose of the role is for you to:
- take responsibility for management and delivery of DJM Consulting’s land and environment schemes and grants work, supporting clients with both new applications and existing schemes
- work directly with farming clients, helping them navigate requirements, opportunities and change

We are looking for someone who:

- thinks strategically and has a genuine interest in farming and rural business
- communicates well and builds good working relationships
- approaches problems in a logical and methodical way
- understands the importance of the team working together to drive the business
- can work independently as well as part of a team
- is confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- has the aptitude and enthusiasm to learn, develop and grow with the business
- someone who can demonstrate problem solving skills
- someone who has worked in farming or related industries aspiring to focus on advice
- a graduate, someone returning to work or looking for a change of career
