Location
- Aberdeen/Liverpool, United Kingdom or Den Helder, Netherlands.
- Primarily office\-based, responsible for reviewing project\-related rope access documentation, and creating and maintaining corporate rope access procedures, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
- Oversees equipment planning and compliance requirements, with occasional site visits, and participates in audits, inspections, and stakeholder engagement activities.
- Review and approve rope access documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and project requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and update corporate rope access policies, procedures, and guidance documents.
- Monitor compliance with relevant industry standards, legislation, and internal governance requirements.
- Assist in the coordination and planning of rope access equipment in line with operational requirements and certification standards.
- Provide professional support and guidance to operational teams on rope access\-related matters.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying gaps, trends, and opportunities within rope access processes.
- Participate in internal and external audits, inspections, and assessments as required.
- Assist with investigations, reporting, and follow\-up actions related to rope access incidents and non\-conformances.
- Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and alignment.
- Undertake occasional site visits to support operational oversight and verify implementation of approved procedures.
- Provide oversight and approval of documentation, work packs, and procedural compliance.
- Authorised to stop or delay work where documentation, equipment, or safety conditions are deemed inadequate.
To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.
Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
- Experience in, or knowledge of, NDT and decommissioning within the oil and gas offshore wind sector.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Technical qualification in mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic engineering.
- IRATA Level 3 certification with in\-depth knowledge of rope access techniques, rescue procedures, and rigging systems.
- Valid offshore medical certificate (required for site visits).
- Valid NOGEPA 0\.5 certified.
- SCC (VCA) certified (applicable to The Netherlands).
