Liam Bacon Ltd is a well\-established, family\-run contractor specialising in roofing, solar PV, and kitchen \& bathroom refurbishment projects within the social housing sector.
Based in Sheffield, we operate across Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and the East Midlands, delivering high\-quality planned maintenance, refurbishment and renewable energy programmes for housing associations and other public sector clients.
Due to continued growth and a secured 4\-year framework, we are looking to recruit an experienced and motivated Project Manager to join our team and play a key role in the successful delivery of our expanding workload.

The Role
As Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the effective day\-to\-day management and delivery of the site and overall framework.
Working closely with the Contracts and Commercial teams, you will lead site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and to the required quality standards.
A significant proportion of our work is undertaken within occupied social housing properties, so excellent communication, organisation and customer care are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the day\-to\-day management of site operations across multiple projects.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor works to ensure programmes are achieved.
- Lead and manage site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ensure all works are delivered safely, efficiently, within programme and to specification.
- Maintain high standards of health and safety across all sites.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, RAMS, legislation and client requirements.
- Carry out regular site inspections, quality checks and progress reviews.
- Monitor workmanship and ensure defects and issues are identified and rectified promptly.
- Liaise professionally with clients, housing associations, tenants, subcontractors and internal management teams.
- Manage tenant and customer relationships throughout the delivery of works.
- Proactively identify and resolve operational and site\-related issues.
- Monitor labour, materials, plant and subcontractor performance.
- Maintain accurate site records, reports, photographs and project documentation.
- Provide regular progress updates to the Contracts and Commercial teams.
- Work closely with the Commercial team to support the financial and contractual performance of projects.
- Attend client meetings, site meetings and progress meetings as required.
- Support the successful mobilisation and close\-out of projects and programmes.
- Mentor and support Site Managers and junior members of the site team where required.
- Promote a positive culture focused on safety, quality, productivity, teamwork and customer satisfaction.
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager who is confident managing multiple sites and teams and understands the challenges of delivering works within the social housing environment.
You will ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or experienced Site Manager within social housing, planned maintenance, refurbishment or construction.
- Experience managing programmes involving Roofing
- Experience working within occupied properties and dealing directly with tenants and residents.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, site management and programme delivery.
- SMSTS qualification essential.
- CSCS qualification appropriate to the role.
- Strong understanding of health and safety legislation and site compliance.
- Excellent leadership and people\-management skills.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving problems.
- IT literate and confident using project, reporting and site management systems.
- Full UK Driving Licence essential.

The successful candidate will be required to travel between sites as necessary.
