About:

mo:re is a biotech startup dedicated to revolutionizing the pharmaceutical industry. Founded in 2023 and based in Hamburg, we are on a mission to establish the new gold standard for organoid\-based drug development, ultimately aiming to eliminate the need for animal studies. Our innovative lab platform empowers organizations to conduct organoid cell culture studies, offering a cost\-effective, faster, and more compliant alternative to traditional animal testing.

The Opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Robotics Software Engineer to develop the software that turns biological procedures into automated robotic workflows.

You will develop and maintain a library of robotic actions that forms the foundation for increasingly complex biological workflows. This includes programming robot movements, integrating laboratory devices, handling physical constraints and edge cases, and ensuring that actions can be safely and reliably combined.

At the same time, you will take ownership of the software architecture that drives the robot. An important part of the role is to improve and restructure our existing machine\-control code, including motion control, machine drivers, hardware abstractions, and interfaces between higher\-level workflows and physical devices.

We work closely with our in\-house scientists: you will clarify requirements, plan implementation, gather feedback from internal tests, and challenge feature requests.

Our goal is not to blindly implement features, but to build a consistent, usable product with a clear software philosophy.
