Robotics Software Integration Engineer (m/f/d)

Tasks
---------

• Track the entire PR lifecycle, collaborate closely with contributors, monitor review statuses, and manage merge queues to keep our integration pipeline moving fast


• Conduct technical PR reviews for critical code touching sensor interfaces, robotics pipelines, ROS2 packages, and middleware\-related integrations


• Maintain branching strategy compliance, oversee issue tracking, handle tagging, lead release preparation, and champion ultimate repository hygiene


• Monitor and maintain our build pipelines, troubleshoot failures, coordinate quick fixes, and support our Docker/Kubernetes infrastructure


• Proactively identify interface mismatches, untangle dependency issues, and eliminate integration blockers across multi\-functional teams


• Apply your understanding of hardware\-facing software, communication stacks, and deployment constraints to streamline reviews and coordination

• B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Robotics, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field


• At least 4 years of professional experience in robotics software, system integration, or embedded software environments


• Solid development skills in C\+\+ within Linux environments (exposure to C or scripting languages is a great bonus)


• Practical, hands\-on experience with the ROS2 ecosystem and robotics software integration workflows


• Deep familiarity with Git\-based development, advanced PR review processes, CI/CD workflows, Docker, and automated build systems


• A strong understanding of sensor integration, middleware concepts, distributed software systems, and standard robotics pipelines (perception, localization, control interfaces).

• Understanding of communication protocols (CAN, Ethernet, TCP/IP, SPI, I2C, UART)


• Prior exposure to Embedded systems or RTOS


• Experience navigating and aligning goals within multi\-team or cross\-functional environments
