Robotics engineer
About the Role
As our Robotics Engineer for Hardware and Control, you'll be the hands\-on expert who brings robotic systems to life. You'll integrate, and optimize the hardware and control systems that form the foundation of our robotics solutions, ensuring reliable performance across pharmaceutical, defense/aerospace, and automotive/manufacturing applications.
Your work will span from component selection and system integration to real\-time control implementation. You'll be responsible for ensuring that our robotic platforms meet the demanding requirements of industrial environments, from precision requirements to operational reliability.
Examples of responsibilities include:
- Integrating robotic hardware systems including actuators, sensors, embedded controllers, and power systems
- Implementing real\-time control algorithms for manipulators, mobile platforms, and integrated systems
- Employing hardware\-software interfaces and drivers for sensors, actuators, and communication protocols
Requirements
Essential Qualifications:
- MSc or PhD in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Strong experience with robotic hardware integration and real\-time control systems
- Hands\-on experience with real robotics systems
- Knowledge of motor control, drive systems, and power electronics
- Familiarity with CAD tools and mechanical design principles
- Track record of troubleshooting and optimizing robotic hardware in production settings
