Road freight clerk Import Export

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced freight forwarding professional with customs entry and road freight knowledge who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has strong attention to detail within import and Exports

• Completing and processing customs entries accurately and efficiently


• Handling import and export customs declarations


• Coordinating road freight shipments across the UK and Europe


• Liaising with customers, hauliers, customs authorities, and overseas agents


• Monitoring shipment progress and resolving operational issues


• Ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company procedures


• Maintaining accurate shipment and customs records


• Providing excellent customer service and operational support

Requirements • Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or customs operations

• Knowledge of customs entries and customs procedures


• Road freight experience is essential


• Familiarity with CDS and customs software would be advantageous


• Strong communication and organisational skills


• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines


• Good attention to detail and accuracy
