We are looking for a detail-driven and organised Reward Operations Officer to join Cadent on a project-based contract, supporting key reward and benefits activity across the business.

In this role, you will play a central part in delivering pay reviews, bonus processes, and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy, strong governance, and a positive experience for colleagues and stakeholders. This is a fast-paced, data-focused role suited to someone who thrives on managing structured HR processes and working with large datasets.

You’ll work closely with Reward Managers and wider HR teams to support the delivery of key reward processes. From annual pay and bonus cycles, recognition panels and job evaluation activity through to benefits administration and supplier management, you’ll bring structure, insight and attention to detail to everything you do.

How You’ll Make an Impact

In this role, you’ll support the delivery of key reward activities and processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the end-to-end delivery of annual pay review and bonus processes

  • Preparing, validating, and managing reward data, templates, and documentation

  • Acting as a key escalation point for reward-related queries, ensuring accurate and timely resolution

  • Supporting the delivery of flexible benefits activity, including enrolment and communications

  • Coordinating with internal stakeholders, HR teams, and external suppliers

  • Managing reward-related invoicing and reconciliation processes

  • Supporting employee recognition initiatives, including monthly awards processes

  • Maintaining accurate data across systems to support reporting and decision-making

  • Assisting with reward communications, roadshows, and engagement activities

  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance the colleague experience

What Skills Do You Need?
  • Reward or Analytical Experience – Experience supporting reward, compensation or benefits activity within a complex organisation.

  • Strong Numerical Skills – Advanced Excel capability with confidence interpreting, validating and presenting data.

  • Process & Governance Focus – High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance and consistency.

  • Stakeholder Confidence – Ability to engage with HR partners and managers, confidently explaining reward processes and outcomes.

  • Problem-Solving Mindset – Comfortable investigating issues, challenging assumptions and driving improvements.

  • Supplier Interaction – Experience working with external providers and managing supplier processes (desirable).

  • Continuous Improvement Approach – Interest in refining processes and enhancing the reward experience.

How It All Comes Together
  • Day rate: £19.68 per hour PAYE, £24.96 per hour UMBRELLA

  • Assignment duration: Until 1st August (with potential to extend)

  • Start date: ASAP

  • Location: Pilot Way Ansty Park, Coventry, West Midlands, CV7 9JU

  • Working pattern: Hybrid, 1 day in the office

  • Contracted hours: 37h per week Mon – Fri 8am – 4pm
