Revenue Manager
Role Purpose
Provide analytical support to the Fixed Capacity trading team (River Cruise and Ocean), enabling faster and better decisions through clear, timely analysis of booking performance, pricing effectiveness and demand patterns. Your job is to make sure the Senior Revenue Manager has the right information at the right time — so they spend their energy deciding, not searching.
What makes this role different:
This is not a passive reporting role. The best Revenue Analysts in fixed\-capacity environments are proactive: they flag issues before they're asked, build views before the meeting, and have a commercial instinct for what the data is actually telling you. If you're waiting to be told what to look at, you're already behind.
Key Responsibilities:
- Have your finger on the pulse of booking trends, load factors and pricing performance across River Cruise and Ocean sailings on a regular basis across multiple departure seasons.
- Prepare product\-level trading views ahead of revenue meetings — clear, opinionated, with recommendations and actions not just data dumps
- Identify performance risks and opportunities early, with an initial read on likely causes
- Support evaluation of pricing changes, promotional activity and tactical trading decisions
- Work with the Pricing, Insight \& Performance team to ensure consistency of data and reporting standards
- Provide ad hoc analysis to support Senior Revenue Manager decision\-making
- Maintain and improve the analytical tools and models used by the Fixed Capacity trading team
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable handling large datasets and building structured views
- Excel confident; experience with BI or reporting tools a plus
- Commercial curiosity — interested in why the numbers move, not just what they are
- Clear communicator who can turn analysis into a simple, actionable narrative
- Detail\-oriented without getting lost in the detail
