Based on research and analysis, the Revenue Growth / Customer Category Manager is responsible for deploying and embeding Revenue Growth Management (RGM) methodology and their merger with BF category vision to develop tools for the commercial, finance and marketing teams within Brown\-Forman France \& Belgium.
The Revenue Growth / Customer Category Manager works with the teams to identify insights and create action plans to drive sales, categories, profit and margins at short, medium and long term to fuel sustainable growth.
This is an office/hybrid role (4 days a week at Paris office and Fridays working from home)
What You Can Expect
- Combine RGM and Category vision to unlock commercial, category and business opportunities:
- Integrate RGM pillars with all aspects of Category Management: product and channel mixes, merchandising, promotional policy etc.
- Collaborate with BBI and Trade Marketing on building the category levers and the tools for implementation
- Perform RGM on a monthly analytics cadence
- Assess competitive price environment and B\-F’s price position within it
- Assess developments in channel\-pack\-price architecture for B\-F and within the market
- Derive promo efficiency through sales uplifts and promo effectiveness through ROI
- Monitor customer mix and its impact on volume growth and margin use
- Assess Trade Terms usage and their alignment with pay\-for\-performance concept
- Track and report back on the success of incremental promotional activities signed off outside of the plan
- Roll\-out RGM analytics to commercial, finance and marketing teams
- Embed RGM in business management process
- Support and coach individuals and teams collaborating on RGM
- Develop insights from analysis
- Create action plans from insights
- Communicate and present the insights to action story to the wider team
- Implemente, execute and monitor actions plans

- Consolidate the prioritized RGM Action Plan and report on implementation progress

- Reasons for gap to plan
- RGM agenda on behalf of country leadership
- Be a super user of all the RGM tools and main point of contact for questions
- Keep track of all the data quality issues and work with IT and business teams to resolve this
- Represent the countries on future RGM initiatives/requirements
- Education: College/University (Bachelors or Equivalent); Finance, Sales, Marketing, Business
- Experience: At least 3 years in sales, finance or marketing role with a FMCG company and at least 2 years’ experience in a RGM role (Pricing Positioning, channel price pack architecture, promotion efficiency, customer mix management and trade terms) in any industry
- Analytical skills
- Advanced excel knowledge, comfortable with numbers
- Strong oral and written skills
- Confidence in presenting to Leadership Team if necessary
- Experience of managing projects to completion in a cross\-functional working group environment
- Highly organized with prioritization skills
- Fluent in French \& English
