Revenue Accountant

My client, a leading consultancy business in the City of London, are currently looking for a Revenue Accountant to join their busy finance team. The company has multiple overseas offices and a fantastic culture within the business. The role will be looking into the company revenue as well as managing the timesheet payment process. The ideal candidate would have a customer services outlook, advanced excel skills and could be studying ACCA or CIMA with previous accounting experience.

Duties

• Timesheet billing across multiple jurisdictions.


• Manage contractors, from timesheets to payments.


• Revenue recognition, accrued/deferred revenue and revenue reconciliation.


• Resolve client and contractor queries to ensure high service levels.


• Reporting to sales teams, sharing transparent data and ensure financial understanding by non-finance colleagues.


• Commission calculations.


• Statutory reporting requirements.


• Implement process improvements and system implementations to enhance efficiency.


• Assist with the audit process.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills, being able to communicate effectively with staff, clients and contractors


• Problem solving outlook


• Excellent excel skills and being able to present data to non-financial individuals


• Continuous improvement mindset


• Experience in debtors or creditors processing or bank reconciliations


• Experience of dealing with international entities and multiple currencies is desirable


• Experience within an SME is desirable
