Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer\-focused Trade Counter Sales Person to join our team at Noyeks Newmans. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining the trade counter area. This role requires a proactive individual with strong communication skills and a passion for sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist customers at the trade counter, providing product information and advice.

  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

  • Maintain a clean and organized trade counter area.

  • Manage stock levels and ensure products are well\-displayed.

  • Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales targets.

  • Keep up\-to\-date with product knowledge and industry trends.

  • Assist in the preparation of sales reports and documentation.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in a similar industry.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast\-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

  • Proficiency in using sales and inventory management software.

  • Basic knowledge of timber and related products is an advantage.

  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
