Main role
Your role is to help the world fall in love with Scotch whisky by providing excellent customer service, by keeping the shop floor fully stocked and beautifully presented, and by helping create an environment where visitors can discover new favourites and sales can thrive.

- Receive all deliveries, ensuring all appropriate paperwork is dealt with as per procedure.
- Comply with The Scotch Whisky Experience manual handling guidelines
- Check off, price and ensure all stock is ready for sale.
- Distribute stock to multiple stock locations and departments
- Ensure visual merchandising guidelines are followed.
- Assist with regular stock counts as directed by the Retail \& Stock Manager.
- Keep whisky and dry stock storerooms clean, safe, tidy and in good order.
- Release and record stock transfers to other departments.
- Be aware of the bestselling products and always keep these well stocked, highlight any issues to your manager.
- Regularly review perishable stock and ensure that products are rotated by date.
- Ensure there is stock for miniature packs ready to assemble, amend and print off tasting notes and assist with assembly when not required on the shop floor.
- Ensure the shareholder and stakeholder facings are maintained and to be aware of the rationale behind.
- Ensure all stock is priced according to guidelines and that signage is consistent and accurate.
- Work proactively with members of the retail team to perform all duties, and all other departments as and when required.
- Work with Visitor Assistants in the shop by providing direction and support to ensure smooth daily operations and completion of tasks.
- Assist with the training and supervision of new members to the team.
- Any other duties commensurate with your role.
- Average of 36\.25 hours/week
- Includes mornings, evenings, and weekends.
