We are looking for you to join our team in the Controlling Department at our headquarters in Idstein as a Retail Channel Controller (f/m/d) as soon as possible.
Our company headquarters will relocate to Eschborn towards the end of 2026, and your primary workplace will transition to Eschborn accordingly.
Your role in the Wolfpack:
- Responsible for controlling\-related tasks within monthly financial closing processes
- Prepare and analyze financial reports required by Group FP\&A, including but not limited to P\&L, MMR, and door P\&L
- Drive budgeting and rolling forecast processes in close collaboration with all stakeholders and perform critical reviews to ensure forecast accuracy
- Monitor business performance and proactively identify risks and opportunities
- Support store performance reviews and financial audits, and monitor key retail KPIs (sales, margins, productivity, cost efficiency)
- Identify operational inefficiencies and cost\-saving opportunities, including store openings, closures, relocations, and investments
- Build financial models and simulations to support business decisions
- Ensure proper OPEX and CAPEX approval processes in line with financial controls and company policies
- Perform internal audits in retail stores in Germany and across the EU
- Conduct additional financial analyses and benchmarking to support retail excellence
What you bring:
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience, ideally in audit, and at least 2 years in FP\&A or controlling; retail experience is a plus
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and Power Query)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and SAP Business Objects is an advantage
- Experience with SAP ERP systems and applications is beneficial
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills, with the ability to handle large datasets and work with multiple databases
- Proactive and independent working style with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast\-paced, results\-oriented environment and build effective cross\-functional relationships
- Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
