Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in overseeing daily store operations, managing sales teams, and ensuring excellent customer service. Responsibilities
- Assist in the day\-to\-day management of the retail store, ensuring smooth operations and high standards of customer service.
- Supervise and motivate sales staff to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional shopping experiences.
- Organise merchandising displays to maximise product visibility and optimise sales opportunities.
- Manage stock levels, organise stock replenishment, and oversee inventory control procedures.
- Provide training and support to team members, fostering a positive team environment.
- Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally via phone or in person, maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Assist in planning promotional activities and marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Maintain administrative records, including sales reports, staff schedules, and stock documentation.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment.
- Proven management or supervisory experience within a retail setting is essential.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team effectively.
- Excellent communication skills, including fluency in multiple languages or bilingual abilities are advantageous.
- Experience in sales management, merchandising, and organisational tasks is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to handle administrative duties efficiently with good time management skills.
