Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals with a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence to lead a team and contribute to the success of our restaurant. We open Monday \- Saturday (Closed Sundays)
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas
- Oversee food production, ensuring dishes are prepared to high standards and served promptly
- Assist with food preparation and cooking when necessary, maintaining consistency and quality
- Ensure all food safety regulations are adhered to, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Manage daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock control, and cleanliness standards
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
- Train new staff members and support ongoing development of team skills
- Monitor service standards to ensure a positive dining experience for all guests
- Collaborate with management on menu planning, promotions, and operational improvements
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within hospitality settings
- Strong background in food production, cooking, serving, and food preparation
- Extensive restaurant experience with a solid understanding of kitchen operations and food safety protocols
- Leadership qualities with previous supervising experience in a busy environment
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and hospitality best practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently whilst maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanour
- Experience with managing teams, training staff, and fostering a positive work environment
- Barista experience is desirable but not essential; however, familiarity with beverage service is advantageous
- A proactive approach to problem\-solving coupled with organisational skills. Pay: £30,000\.00 per year
