Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our busy dining establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a comprehensive understanding of food service standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to Supervise a vibrant team, ensure exceptional customer experience, and uphold the highest standards of food safety and quality.

Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of restaurant staff, including servers, kitchen personnel, and baristas, ensuring smooth service delivery.

  • Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain quality and presentation standards.

  • Assist in training new team members and provide ongoing coaching to enhance performance.

  • Manage shift schedules, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor staff attendance.

  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all areas of the restaurant.

  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly to guarantee satisfaction.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the dining areas.

  • Collaborate with the management team on menu planning, stock control, and operational improvements.

  • Support in organising special events or promotions to increase patronage.

  • Responsible for ensuring the restaurant is set up for functions according the the function sheets.
Personal qualities and specifications
  • Proven supervisory experience within a restaurant environment.

  • Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff.

  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.

  • Experience in food production, kitchen operations, or culinary arts is highly desirable.

  • Familiarity with restaurant service standards, including serving procedures and hospitality best practice.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently under pressure.

  • Leadership qualities combined with a professional attitude towards customer service excellence.

  • This position is suitable for individuals passionate about delivering outstanding hospitality experiences while leading a dedicated team in a fast\-paced environment.

  • Applicants should demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a genuine enthusiasm for culinary arts and guest satisfaction.

  • Applicants need to be drivers and live withing a 30 mile radius from the hotel or live withing walking distance.

  • Good time keeping is essential and flexitility in order to work according to the business needs.
