Marlfield House in Gorey Co Wexford, a family run country house, has been renowned for its lavish and warm hospitality since it opened its doors to guests 48 years ago.

Marlfield has 2 restaurants: The Conservatory restaurant is a fine dining restaurant which has gained many culinary and service awards over its many years. And The Duck is a more casual dining option. Housed in Courtyard buildings it offers a beautiful sun drenched terrace overlooking the garden in Summer and a Mediterranean Menu with some middle eastern influence, steaks, fish and a great cocktail bar.

Requirements

Applicants must have completed a full formal training in hotel or catering
Fluent English.
Have strong Team leadership qualities

Be proficient in staff training, organising and doing staff training

Have an eye for detail, be standards driven
Have a Warm, welcoming and hospitable personality
Have Strong organisational and interpersonal skills
Be technically proficent in service

Be knowledgeable and have a passion for food , wines and cocktail making and mixology

Have at least 1 years experience in a supervisory position

Be professional and proud of their profession

The Restaurant Supervisor will be responsible for running their shifts . the restaurants are open which is open Wednesday / Thursday to Sunday weekly. Hosting the guests and heading up a team of between 5 and 10 on a shift. Must be able to work on their own initiative, lead by example and have at least one years experience as a supervisor .
