Restaurant Supervisor

Part\-Time or Full\-Time \| Kings Acre Golf Course, Edinburgh

Kings Acre Golf Course is a family\-owned, welcoming and professionally run golf facility located on the outskirts of Edinburgh. We pride ourselves on providing a friendly and professional experience for our members, visitors and guests.

We are currently looking for an experienced Restaurant Supervisor to join our clubhouse team. This role would suit someone with strong hospitality experience who is confident supervising day\-to\-day restaurant operations while maintaining excellent standards of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising the day\-to\-day running of the restaurant

  • Providing excellent service to members, visitors and guests

  • Supporting and supervising waiting staff during shifts

  • Taking orders and overseeing food and drink service

  • Ensuring tables and customer areas are presented to a high standard

  • Handling cash and card payments

  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

  • Supporting golf days, functions, weddings and other events

  • Working closely with management and the kitchen team to ensure smooth service

What We’re Looking For
  • Previous restaurant/hospitality experience is essential

  • Applicants must be aged 18 or over

  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred

  • Friendly, confident and professional manner

  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Reliable, organised and able to take responsibility during a shift

  • Able to work independently and as part of a team

  • Weekend availability is essential

Hours

The position is available on a part\-time or full\-time basis.

The role will mainly involve daytime hours, with occasional evening work required for functions and events. Applicants must be available to work weekends.

Rate of pay will be dependent on age and previous experience.
